Our Assist. Chief Steve Reeser was involved in a serious motorcycle accident in late August 2014 and was in the hospital for 3 1/2 weeks. Linden, PA - A longtime social member of the Woodward Township Volunteer Fire Company passed away at home Saturday June 30, 2012. Keith "Bubba" Lynn assisted in the fire company in many capacities by helping out at fundraisers and overall being a good friend to all. All of his family seemed to be involved in the fire company in some form or the other including his wife, daughters, son-in-law and his grand-daughters. Linden, PA - 10 year old Conrad Mosier of Montoursville visited the firehouse today with his family to attend the annual Easter Egg Hunt. Conrad was born July 12, 2000 and lived in Linden at the time. On September 23, 2000 he went into arrest and was not breathing. Woodward Township firefighters and EMT's performed CPR on Conrad and were able to resuscitate him. After a few years with some serious medical issues, Conrad is a healthy and happy 10 year old boy. Linden, PA - The Woodward Township Volunteer Fire Company held their annual Easter Egg Hunt at the fire company today. The event was well attended by township residents and their families. Festivities were moved inside due to inclement weather. This has become an annual event that started at the firehouse back in the 1950's. A thanks to all the sponsors who donated funds to make the event possible.

Linden, PA - The Woodward Township Fire Company's sign project is almost complete. A few finishing touches are needed to finish the sign still, but it is fully operational. The sign was built with donated money and did not involve any fire tax money.
